ANDERSON, CA (February 15, 2023) – One dead and two were life-flighted after a rollover crash on Interstate 5 on Sunday.

According to the California Highway Patrol, they received a report at 4:56 p.m. of a fatal car wreck near Deschutes Road.

Based on a report, a Toyota SUV lost control while traveling along Interstate 5 North. The circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation.

One person sustained fatal injuries and passed away at the scene later on.

Responders rushed two more people via airlift to Mercury Medical Hospital.

At this point, the CHP joined forces with Caltrans to handle the traffic in the area. The lanes number 2 and 3 were closed while the investigation and cleanup continued.
