BOTHELL, WA (November 20, 2024) — One person died in a two-car crash on 405 Freeway on Thursday, October 31.
 
According to Washington State Patrol, the incident took place on 405 Freeway near Northeast 195th Street on Thursday night.
 
WSP said a vehicle spun out on 405 Freeway. Then it hit the barrier before another car struck it.
 
The driver of the vehicle that spun out died. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased, pending notification of loved ones.
 
There were no reports of other injuries or fatalities in the incident.
 
Officers closed the northbound traffic on 405 Freeway for several hours. It has since reopened. The backups reached two miles while the freeway was closed.
