Driver Killed after Truck Accident on Road K Northeast

 
MOSES LAKE, WA (January 4, 2024) — One person died in a propane truck crash on Road K Northeast on Tuesday, November 28.
 
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, the collision took place on Road K Northeast near Moses Lake at around 8:25 a.m.
 
Officers said a Jeep Liberty SUV traveled south on Road K Northeast and lost control due to icy conditions. The vehicle went into the path of a northbound bobtail propane truck. It resulted in the collision of two vehicles. The impact of the crash caused the propane truck to roll onto its side.
 
The driver of the vehicle that lost control sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Officials have not yet released their identity.
 
The propane truck driver sustained minor injuries. Paramedics transported them to Samaritan Healthcare for treatment.
 
Firefighters quickly sealed the small propane leak from the overturned truck.
