DENVER, CO (June 23, 2023) – The Denver Police Department confirmed that an officer was struck by a fire truck during the Denver Nuggets Parade on 13th Avenue on June 14.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened near Cherokee Street around 11:50 AM. Based on a report, a fire truck hit the officer nearing the end of the parade route.
