SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (February 17, 2025) – Nam Hoa Chiem died following a pedestrian crash on Elk Grove Florin Road on Sunday evening, February 9.
 
According to the Sacramento County Police Department, the fatal incident happened at Robbins Road.
 
Reports indicated that Chiem was crossing Elk Grove Florin Road when a Subaru Outback driving in the left-most lane struck her.
 
71-year-old Chiem died at the scene, police said.
 
It is unclear if the 78-year-old Subaru driver will be facing any charges.
