Motorcyclist Killed After Multi-Vehicle Accident on Avenal Cutoff Road
KINGS COUNTY, CA (October 10, 2022) – A motorcyclist died after crashing into a car and being hit by a truck on Avenal Cutoff Road on September 30.
The California Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a crash on Avenal Cutoff Road at Lincoln Avenue involving a motorcycle, a car, and a semi-truck at around 6:00 a.m.
The southbound motorcycle hit the side of the car after it appeared, attempting to turn off the road. Due to the impact of the crash, the motorcyclist ejected off the bike and was struck by an oncoming semi-truck.
The driver of the truck continued driving without rendering aid to the victim.
The motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene, police say.
Meanwhile, the driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The authorities are looking into the Go-pro camera that the motorcycle rider had to get further information.
