FRESNO COUNTY, CA (August 18, 2022)Richard Lewis died in a fatal motorcycle crash on Highway 168 on Wednesday, July 20.

According to the responding officers of the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 7:30 a.m. on Highway 168, west of Little Sandy Road. Reports stated that the accident involved 43-year-old Lewis’ Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Toyota.

Initial investigations revealed that Lewis, heading west on Little Sandy Road, took a curve and crashed into the Toyota.

The impact of the crash caused Lewis to eject from his motorcycle. As a result, a Chevrolet carrying a trailer hit him in the road.

Police confirmed that Lewis died at the scene.

Both drivers of the involved vehicles did not suffer any injuries.

Authorities added that Lewis was wearing a helmet during the accident. However, no further information is available.
