ARLINGTON, WA (May 22, 2024) — A motorcycle rider died in a two-vehicle accident on 252nd Street Northeast on Friday, May 10.
 
According to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place at the intersection of 252nd Street Northeast and 50th Avenue Northeast at about 4:30 p.m.
 
The sheriff’s office posted on social media that a motorcycle and pickup truck crashed in the area.
 
Jason Tift, spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said the motorcycle rider died at the scene. They have not yet released the identity of the rider, pending notification of loved ones.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics brought the pickup truck driver to Cascade Valley Hospital for treatment.
 
Detectives with the sheriff’s office handled the on-scene investigation of the collision on Friday.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
