Motorcyclist Struck by Tire, Killed in Accident on 25 Freeway in Colorado Springs

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (October 7, 2024) – The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed that a motorcyclist died in an accident on 25 Freeway on September 15.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened near North Gate Boulevard and Interquest Parkway around 9:30 AM. Based on a report, the victim was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on the southbound side of the freeway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a Subaru’s tire flew up in the air and hit the rider.
 
As a result, the motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries in the crash. Despite lifesaving efforts, the rider died at the hospital. Officials did not release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
