COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (October 23, 2024) — One person died in a suspected DUI accident on Cimarron Street on Saturday, October 5.
 
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, the accident occurred on Cimarron Street and Highway 24 Frontage Road at around 8:45 p.m.
 
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries. Emergency responders then brought the rider to the hospital. However, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries on the way there.
 
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the rider pending notification of loved ones.
