Mistrang Ndikum Struck and Killed by Vehicle on 4th Street in Lubbock

 
LUBBOCK, TX (March 19, 2024) – The Lubbock Police Department identified 39-year-old Mistrang Ndikum who died in a pedestrian accident on 4th Street on March 9.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Indiana Avenue around 2:28 AM. Based on a report, Ndikum was in the westbound lane of traffic on 4th Street prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck and knocked him down the road. Subsequently, another vehicle hit him while he was down on the roadway.
 
As a result, Ndikum suffered serious injuries in the incident. He was taken to University Medical Center by EMS for his injuries, where he later died.
 
Officials identified the drivers of the vehicles as 21-year-old Gavin Gomez and 30-year-old Amanda Villarreal.
 
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
