Milena Wilske and Angel Ortuno Die after Dallas Car Accident

 
DALLAS, TX (March 19, 2024) — A couple identified as 18-year-old Milena Wilske and 22-year-old Angel Ortuno died after a car crash on Saturday, March 9.
 
According to Dallas police, the incident took place at the intersection of Centerville Road and Joaquin Drive at around 10:40 p.m.
 
Police said Wilske drove a car with Ortuna as a passenger. Then when they were at a stop sign on Centerville and Joaquin, she tried to turn left. At the same time, a pickup truck, allegedly driven by Antonio Ortiz, ran the stop sign at Joaquin. He crashed into Wilske’s vehicle.
 
Police said Ortuno died at the scene. Paramedics transported Wilske to a hospital where she later died.
 
Just after the first incident, police said a third hit the truck Ortiz drove. That driver received treatment at the scene and was then released.
 
Dallas police said Officeos transported Ortiz to a hospital out of precaution. After that, they booked him into Dallas County Jail with two counts of manslaughter. Police believe he traveled around 60-70 miles per hour when the collision happened.
