Miguel Fuentes Identified in Fatal Two-Car Crash in Tucson

 
TUCSON, AZ (November 17, 2023) – The Tucson Police Department identified 68-year-old Miguel Angel Machado Fuentes who died in a crash on East Drexel Road on November 3.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at South Nogales Highway around 2:30 PM. Based on a report, Fuentes was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado north on Nogales Highway prior to the crash.
 
At the same, a black 2017 GMC Yukon was attempting a left turn from southbound Nogales Highway onto eastbound Drexel Road. At that point, the Silverado hit the GMC.
 
As a result, Fuentes suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
The driver of the GMC was cited for failure to yield.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
