Michael Rhinehart Identified in Fatal Single-Car Accident on Speedway Boulevard in Tucson

 
TUCSON, AZ (June 13, 2023) – The Pima County Sheriff’s Department identified 62-year-old Michael Rhinehart who died in an accident on Speedway Boulevard on June 9.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Houghton Road around 10:45 PM. Based on a report, Rhinehart was driving a pickup truck east on Speedway prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he ran off the road and struck a pedestrian crossing signal. Subsequently, his vehicle flipped, ejecting him onto the road. Then, the vehicle came to rest on top of him.
 
As a result, he suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
