Michael Padilla Arrested in Accident on 635 Freeway at Forest Lane [Dallas, TX]

DALLAS, TX (February 8, 2024) – Police arrested 24-year-old Michael Padilla after an accident on 635 Freeway on February 2.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Forest Lane just after midnight. Based on a report, two Dallas police officers were blocking the scene of another crash in the eastbound lanes of 635 Freeway.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Padilla came along and slammed into their squad car.
 
As a result, the officers were hurt in the incident. They were taken to a hospital as a precaution.
 
Police arrested Padilla on unrelated warrants and it was not clear whether he would face additional charges.
