Michael Gray Identified in Fatal Accident Involving Five Vehicles in Bryan

 
BRYAN, TX (January 17, 2023) – Officials identified 21-year-old Michael Gray of Cumbas as the victim who died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 21 on January 10.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Old San Antonio Road around 10:45 PM. Based on a report, three International trucks and a pickup truck towing a trailer were traveling eastbound on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
The vehicles were in a convoy conducting roadway construction. At the same time, an 18-wheeler was also traveling eastbound. As the 18-wheeler approached the convoy, it struck all of its units.
 
As a result, Gray died at the scene of the crash. He was a member of the construction crew and was on the trailer.
 
The driver of the pickup truck and two separate drivers of International truckers suffered injuries. Paramedics transported the victims to St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan for treatment.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation.
