SPARKS, NV (September 24, 2024) — 23-year-old Michael Felix, of Fresno, died in a pedestrian accident on Monday, September 2.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the incident occurred at about 9:46 p.m. on 80 Freeway and Sparks Boulevard in Washoe County.
 
Their initial investigation determined that a yellow 2022 Freightliner Tow Truck moved east on 80 Freeway, east of Sparks Blvd. Then the Freightliner struck Felix, who was walking in the number one travel lane of the freeway.
 
First responders arrived and then pronounced Felix dead at the scene.
 
The Nevada State Police continue to investigate the crash.
