Michael Farris Killed in Accident on Highway 21 at Northside Lane [Midway, TX]

Michael Farris Identified in Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident in Midway

 
MIDWAY, TX (October 5, 2024) – Authorities identified 65-year-old Michael Farris of Midway who died in an accident on Highway 21 on September 17.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened just before 10:00 AM. Based on a report, a 2022 Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound on the highway prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, Farris was driving a 2014 Kubota ATV from a private driveway. Due to unknown reasons, the ATV failed to yield the right of way and collided with the Toyota. The impact threw Farris off the vehicle.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries in the crash. Madison County Justice of the Peace Jon Stevens pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
The driver of the Toyota was not hurt in the incident.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
