MANHEIM, TX (January 6, 2022) – 23-year-old Michael Carter died in a pedestrian accident on State Highway 21 near County Road 103 Tuesday, December 20.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash took place at approximately 7:55 p.m. and involved a 2012 Infiniti passenger car.

Initial investigation suggested that the eastbound vehicle struck Carter in the roadway.

As a result, Carter died at the scene, police said.

The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
