David Vernonrojo, Sean Miron Face Charges in Fatal Fairfield DUI Crash

 
FAIRFIELD, CA (January 6, 2023) – Sean Miron and David Vernonrojo were arrested after a suspected DUI crash on Cordelia Road on December 28.

According to Fairfield police, the deadly accident happened shortly after 5:20 p.m. between Beck Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Based on reports, a 2022 Silver Chevrolet Silverado crashed into a cyclist. After that, the driver left the scene without rendering aid to the victim. He then hit another vehicle as he was escaping.

The victim, whose identity is still not known, died at the scene.

Authorities identified the driver as 46-year-old Miron of Fairfield and his passenger 22-year-old Vernonrojo of Suisun City.

It was later discovered that Miron was driving under the influence when the accident happened. He also had previous convictions for DUI and other charges, police added.

At this point, Miron is facing charges of second-degree murder and hit-and-run resulting in death or injury.

His passenger – Vernonrojo – will face weapons-related charges.
