Martin Romo Struck, Killed by Hit-and-Run Vehicle in San Diego, Driver Wanted

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 24, 2022) – San Diego police identified 61-year-old Martin Romo as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on December 30.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Morena Boulevard around 6:05 PM.
 
Based on a report, Romo was walking across Tecolote Road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck him and fled the scene.
 
Emergency crews transported Romo to a hospital, where he died a few days later.
 
As of now, officers ask anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspect and/or the suspect’s vehicle to call the Police Department’s Traffic Division at (858) 495-7861 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477.
 
In addition, San Diego County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in the case.
