Maria Torres Hit, Killed in Pasco Hit-and-Run on 20th Avenue
PASCO, WA (December 5, 2022) – Pasco police identified 73-year-old Maria Larios Torres as the victim who died in a hit-and-run on 20th Avenue on November 22.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened at Nixon Street around 7:00 PM. Based on a report, Torres and her 67-year-old husband just finished a shopping trip to the SuperMex grocery store prior to the crash.
Subsequently, a dark-colored sedan hit them as they were crossing the street. Then, the vehicle drove away from the scene.
As a result, Torres died at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.
Her husband remained at the hospital for treatment of injuries and a heart attack.
Family and friends created a GoFundMe to raise money to pay for funeral expenses and medical bills of the victims.
