Pickup Truck Hits Sleeping Pedestrian in Las Vegas Accident on Hazelwood Street

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (December 15, 2022) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that a man suffered critical injuries after a pedestrian accident in the 3800 block of Hazelwood Street on December 12.

According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at approximately 8:23 AM. Based on a report, a pickup truck was traveling in the parking lot prior to the crash.

Due to unknown reasons, he run over a man who was sleeping under a blanket next to a dumpster.

As a result, paramedics took the Las Vegas man to the Sunrise Hospital Trauma Center by ambulance. He remains in critical condition.

The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and did not show signs of impairment.

At this point, the investigation is still ongoing.
