Electric Scooter Rider Died on Houston Hit-and-Run Crash

 
HOUSTON, TX (February 8, 2023) – A man riding his electric scooter died following a hit-and-run on Pease Street on Sunday, January 29.

According to the investigation of the authorities, the accident happened around 12:30 a.m. Officials said that a pickup truck driving in the far left lane struck a man riding his electric scooter, crossing the street.

The man died from his injuries.

Based on several witnesses, the vehicle that struck the victim was a truck. They furthered that the truck had the right of way and was under the red light when the crash happened.
