Man on Scooter Dies in Accident on West Cheyenne Avenue in North Las Vegas

 
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (November 28, 2022) – Police confirmed that a man on a scooter died in a pedestrian accident on West Cheyenne Avenue on November 19.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Simmons Street around 8:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the man was driving westbound on West Cheyenne when he crashed in the roadway. Subsequently, multiple vehicles hit him.
 
As a result, the victim died in the incident. Officials will release the identity of the scooter driver after notification of family.
 
North Las Vegas Police believed the man may have been impaired at the time of the crash. At this point, the NHP continues to investigate the case.
