Fatal Semi-Truck Accident on Highway 505 in Toledo
TOLEDO, WA (February 14, 2025) – Authorities confirmed that a 65-year-old Oregon man died in a semi-truck accident on Highway 505 on February 5.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near Henriot Road around 6:20 AM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a 2014 Chevrolet south on the highway at the time of the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, he struck the back of a semi-truck traveling in front of him. The truck was hauling a trailer.
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Authorities did not release his name, pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the truck, 23-year-old Caleb J. Durrah of Woodland, was not hurt in the crash. He was wearing a seat-belt.
