Man Dies in Head-On Crash on 43rd Avenue at Bethany Home Road [Glendale, AZ]

GLENDALE, AZ (February 14, 2025) – The Glendale Police Department confirmed that a man died in a head-on crash on 43rd Avenue on February 6.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Bethany Home Road. Based on a report, the victim was driving a vehicle eastbound on the road before the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he lost control and went into the westbound lanes. There, he crashed into another car head-on.
 
As a result, the man sustained grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to a hospital, where he later died. Authorities did not release his name, pending notification of next of kin.
 
Officers closed 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road while they worked at the scene.
