LAKE FOREST PARK, WA (August 9, 2023) – The Lake Forest Park Police Department confirmed that a 20-year-old man died in a scooter accident in the 19000 block of Ballinger Way Northeast on July 30.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Northeast 190th Street around 8:30 PM. Based on a report, the man was riding a motorized scooter at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck the victim.
 
As a result, the victim sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
