Male Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehilce on Roger Road at Tyndall Avenue in Tucson

 
TUCSON, AZ (March 31, 2023) Tucson Fire confirmed that a man died in a pedestrian accident on Roger Road on March 26.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Tyndall Avenue shortly after 9:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the pedestrian was attempting to cross Rodger at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a silver 2020 mercury Mountaineer traveling west struck him. Police said the pedestrian was not in a marked crosswalk.
 
As a result, the victim died in the incident. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the Mercury, an adult male, immediately stopped after the collision and cooperated with the investigation. Police did not believe impairment was a factor.
 
As of now, no other details are available.
