Man Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Suspect on Alcott Street in Westminster

 
WESTMINSTER, CO (April 8, 2024) – The Westminster Police Department confirmed that a man died in an intentional hit-and-run on Alcott Street on March 30.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Zuni Street just before 10:30 PM. Based on a report, the victim had a confrontation with the driver of a black Dodge Ram pickup truck prior to the incident.
 
Subsequently, the driver intentionally hit the victim and fled the scene.
 
As a result, the man suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews responded and transported him to the hospital, where he later died. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Police described the Dodge as a pickup truck with chrome wheels, a large circular sticker on the driver’s back window, a pole sticking up from the truck bed, a truck bed work box, and an unknown license plate.
 
They also ask anyone with information to call 303-658-4360 to reach the Westminster Police Department.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
