Fatal Houston Hit-and-Run on St Augustine Street

 
HOUSTON, TX (December 13, 2022) — A man died after a hit-and-run on St Augustine Street on Wednesday night, November 30.

The fatal incident occurred at around 6:20 p.m. near the 6600 block of St. Augustine Street, according to the Houston Police Department. It involved a black Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Authorities said a 43-year-old man left his parent’s house and walked across Yellowstone Boulevard on the east side of the street, where a black Dodge Ram pickup truck hit him.

The male pedestrian died at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge Ram fled the scene of the accident. Officials are searching for leads about the whereabouts of the hit-and-run driver. They believe that the involved Dodge Ram may now have significant damage to the front end.

The cause and factors surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
