Man Dies after Modesto Hit-and-Run near Orangeburg Avenue and Nelson Avenue

 
MODESTO, CA (December 13, 2022) — A man died after a hit-and-run near Orangeburg Avenue and Nelson Avenue on Friday night, December 2.

The fatal incident occurred at around 9:00 p.m. and involved a dark-colored vehicle, according to the Modesto Police Department.

Authorities did not disclose the details leading up to the collision but confirmed that a man had been struck by a vehicle.

The force of impact inflicted fatal injuries to the unnamed man, who died at the scene despite life-saving measures.

Officials have already determined the identity of the driver. However, no arrest has yet to be conducted.
