COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (December 13, 2023) — A man suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Garden of the Gods Road on Saturday, December 9.
 
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, the accident that happened in the 500 block of West Garden of the Gods Road shortly before 6:00 p.m.
 
Police said the pedestrian possibly tried to cross northbound on Garden of the Gods Road, near the 25 Freeway. Then a vehicle moving eastbound hit the person.
 
Medical responders rushed the pedestrian to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
Officers closed the eastbound Garden of the Gods Road at 25 Freeway for several hours during the investigation.
 
CSPD said detectives are still looking for suspect vehicle information. There are still no arrests made at this time.
