Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident on Nellis Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 6, 2024) — A man person suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Nellis Boulevard on Thursday, July 25.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident took place on Nellis Boulevard, near Boulder Highway, on Thursday morning.
LVMPD said that at the time of the crash, a 2007 Hummer H3 traveled northbound on Nellis Boulevard. Then the pedestrian entered its travel lane, trying to cross Nellis Boulevard outside of a marked crosswalk.
The driver of the SUV remained at the scene. Police do not suspect intoxication was a factor at this time.
Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to Sunrise Hospital with life-threatening injuries. They only identified him as a 45-year-old Las Vegas man.
An investigation into the accident is still underway.
