NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (September 3, 2024) — One person died in a motorcycle accident on 15 Freeway on Sunday, August 25.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol troopers, the crash occurred on 15 Freeway at mile marker 64 near Highway 93 at about 4:25 p.m.
 
Officials said the crash only involved a motorcycle.
 
Responding officers arrived at the crash site and pronounced the male motorcyclist dead at the scene. They have not yet released his identity pending notification of loved ones.
 
Authorities closed the mile marker 64 off-ramp and northbound 15 Freeway lanes. On Monday morning, all closed lanes have been reopened.
 
The investigation of the incident is still underway.
