Fatal El Paso Pedestrian Accident, Driver Ismael Galindo Corral Arrested

 
EL PASO, TX (November 22, 2022) – An unidentified 52-year-old man from Guatemala died in a pedestrian crash on Loop 375 on Thursday evening, November 17.

According to authorities, the man, alongside six others, were crossing the road near Fonseca Drive when a vehicle struck him. It remains unclear if any other person in the group was injured.

Initially, the accident was reported as a hit-and-run but the driver of the suspect vehicle, 61-year-old Ismael Galindo Corral, contacted the police and surrendered.

Officials booked Corral into the El Paso County Detention Facility.

No other details were released. However an investigation is ongoing.
