Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Currie Street at West 7th Street in Fort Worth

 
FORT WORTH, TX (October 12, 2022) – A 28-year-old North Richland Hills man is now in critical condition following a pedestrian accident on Currie Street on October 10.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near West 7th Street around 12:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, a driver of a pickup truck burned his tires while on Currie Street prior to the crash. Subsequently, he drove through the intersection and hit a man. After hitting the pedestrian, the driver hit a light pole and a stop sign.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered critical injuries in the incident.
 
The impact caused damage to the front of the vehicle. Witnesses told police the pickup truck left the scene and continued driving north on Currie.
 
As of now, police are looking for the hit-and-run driver. In addition, no further information is available at this time.
