FRENCH VALLEY, CA (March 3, 2025) – A male pedestrian died following a crash on Winchester Road on Monday evening, February 24.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal incident happened around 9:23 p.m., south of Skyview Road.
 
Investigation indicated that a man was walking on the northbound #1 lane of Winchester Road when a Mercedes-Benz SUV struck him after the driver reportedly failed to see him.
 
The 31-year-old man died at the scene, police said.
 
The driver sustained minor injuries and remained in the area of the crash.
