Fatalities Reported in Fiery Crash on 91 Freeway

 
ORANGE COUNTY, CA (March 3, 2025) – Three people died following a fiery crash on 91 Freeway on Wednesday morning, February 26.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 1:00 a.m., east of the 241 Toll Road.
 
For reasons unclear, a vehicle got stalled in the eastbound lanes and was struck from behind by another vehicle. One of the cars caught fire and burst into flames, police said.
 
Two other vehicles got involved but their involvement is unclear.
 
Three people died at the scene, police confirmed.
 
Investigation into the incident remains open and active.
