Cyclist Suffers Critical Injuries in Burbank Hit-and-Run near Clybourn Avenue

 
BURBANK, CA (January 29, 2024) – A male bicyclist suffered injuries following a hit-and-run near Clybourn Avenue and Oxnard Street on early Tuesday morning, January 23.

According to the Burbank Police Department, the incident involving a black sedan occurred at around 7:20 a.m.

Authorities stated that a bicycle, driven by a 77-year-old bicyclist, had traveled south on the east sidewalk of Clybourn Avenue and entered the intersection with Oxnard Street, where the eastbound sedan slammed into him.

The collision left the cyclist hospitalized for treatment of major injuries.

The case is still under investigation, and the search for the suspect continues.
