Magda Porras Killed in Accident on Highway 183 [Austin, TX]

Magda Porras Identified in Fatal Three-Vehicle Accident in Austin

 
AUSTIN, TX (December 29, 2024) – The Austin Police Department identified 37-year-old Magda Anastacia Porras who died in an accident on Highway 183 on December 6.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at the northbound side of the highway. Based on a report, three vehicles collided in the lanes. Porras was the driver of one of the cars.
 
When responders arrived, they found Porras with serious injuries. They transported her to a local hospital, where she later died.
 
The incident adds to the city’s tally of 95 fatalities from 89 fatal crashes in 2024, compared to 85 deaths from 82 crashes by the same date in 2023.
