Librado Gutierrez Identified in Fatal Tucson Accident on North Euclid Avenue
TUCSON, AZ (February 24, 2023) – Officers identified 46-year-old Librado Gutierrez as the victim who died in a motorcycle accident on North Euclid Avenue on February 19.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened early morning in the 2100 block of Euclid Avenue. Based on a report, Gutierrez was speeding on his motorcycle at the time of the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, failed to negotiate a curve and crashed into a vehicle that was traveling in the opposite direction.
As a result, the Tucson Police Department said Gutierrez suffered grave injuries and died.
The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and did not show signs of impairment.
Police said Gutierrez did not have his motorcycle endorsement and they found alcohol bottles and drug paraphernalia in the debris of the collision.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
