Leyanis Martinez Identified in Single-Vehicle Accident in Henderson

 
HENDERSON, NV (January 9, 2024) – Officials identified 31-year-old Leyanis Diaz Martinez of Las Vegas who died in a rollover accident on 11 Freeway on December 25.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Cougar Drive at Horizon Drive around 12:26 AM. Based on a report, Martinez was a passenger in a Mitsubishi Eclipse that was traveling northbound on the freeway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle left the lane and overturned. The impact partially ejected Martinez from the vehicle.
 
As a result, Martinez suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
