PARADISE, NV (June 25, 2024) — A 50-year-old man identified as Leopoldo Urena died in a car accident on Thursday, June 6.
 
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident took place in the 6800 block of Bermuda Road near Sunset Road at about 5:36 a.m.
 
Officers responded to the scene and confirmed that one person died. On Monday, the Clark County Coroner released his identity as Leopoldo Urena. His cause and manner of death are still not yet available.
 
There are no reports if speed and/or intoxication contributed as factors in the incident.
 
Authorities advised the public to avoid the area due to road closures and on-scene investigation.
