Leah Daniels Identified in Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident in Plano

 
PLANO, TX (March 23, 2023) – Officers identified 29-year-old Leah Daniels as the victim who died in an accident on Central Expressway on March 13.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Legacy Drive around 9:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, a vehicle rear-ended Daniels’ car and caused it to stall on the freeway prior to the crash. As she got out of her car, a Peterbilt 389 semi-tractor with no trailer struck and knocked her into oncoming traffic.
 
As a result, Daniels suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Police said the driver of the 18-wheeler kept going.
 
Police are asking anyone with information about the vehicle to contact the Plano Police Department. As of now, the case remains under investigation.
