Landon Kinsey, Kiersten Kinsey, and Bentley Swain Die in Rollover Crash on 35 Freeway Service Road [Troy, TX]

TROY, TX (June 10, 2024) — 17-year-old Landon Kinsey, 18-year-old Kiersten Kinsey, and 5-year-old Bentley Swain died in a crash on Monday, May 27.
 
According to the Troy Police Department, the one-vehicle rollover crash happened at about 5:45 p.m. on Monday at mile marker 312 on the 35 Freeway Service Road.
 
The initial investigation said a vehicle left the roadway on the southbound 35 Freeway service road. Then that vehicle rolled over.
 
Troy PD said the impact ejected all four people from the vehicle. All three people who died were family members, police said.
 
Meanwhile, the fourth person in the vehicle who was not a family member sustained injuries. Paramedics brought the person to Baylor Scott & White for medical treatment.
 
Police believe Landon Kinsey was behind the wheel of the vehicle.
 
As of writing, a GoFundMe organized by Jennifer York has raised more than $27,000 for the family of the deceased victims.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
