Lance Miller Dies in Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Tyler

 
TYLER, TX (September 26, 2022) – Police identified 31-year-old Lance Miller as the victim who died in a vehicle and motorcycle crash on Country Road 210 on September 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Highway 64 around 6:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, 59-year-old Phyllis J. Purvis was driving her truck north on a Country Road 210 prior to the crash. At the intersection, Purvis failed to yield the right of way and collided with Miller who was driving east on Highway 64 on his motorcycle.
 
As a result, both motorists sustained injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported them to the UT Health Hospital, where Miller died.
 
As of now, an investigation is underway. In addition, there are no other details available.
