Kyle Fanning Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on 5 Freeway in Lewis County

 
LEWIS COUNTY, WA (October 26, 2022) – Police identified 35-year-old Kyle Fanning of Chehalis as the victim who died in a motorcycle crash on 5 Freeway on October 22.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened in the northbound lane at milepost 75 around 2:50 PM.
 
Based on a report, Fanning was on his motorcycle heading north on the freeway prior to the crash. Subsequently, troopers say he changed lanes multiple times and accelerated at a rapid rate. At that point, a 73-year-old Winlock woman also changed lanes and Fanning crashed into the rear of her vehicle.
 
As a result, Fanning later died at Providence Centralia Hospital.
 
As of now, the investigation into the case remains ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
