Kelly Rahm Fatally Injured after Colorado Springs Motorcycle Crash

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (July 26, 2024) — Officials identified 23-year-old Kelly Rahm as the person killed in a motorcycle accident on June 18.
 
The Colorado State Police Department said the accident occurred at the intersection of North Nevada Avenue and Jackson Street at about 8:00 p.m. They said the crash involved a vehicle and three motorcyclists.
 
CSPD said a vehicle traveled eastbound on Jackson Street crossing North Nevada Avenue on a green light. Then at least one of the motorcycles slammed the vehicle. As a result of the collision, all three motorcycles went down.
 
When officers responded to the scene, they found that one of the motorcyclists, later identified as Rahm, died. Meanwhile, paramedics brought another motorcyclist with serious injuries to the hospital.
 
The CSPD said the third motorcyclist left the scene. Officers later contacted the rider at the hospital. As of writing, the names and conditions of the two other motorcyclists were not yet available. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.
 
Officers consider speed as a factor in the incident.
 
Authorities have not reported if there will be any charges filed as a result of the crash.
