Kayci McCrory Dies in El Paso Hit-and-Run, Hector Saenz Arrested

 
EL PASO, TX (November 8, 2022) – Police identified 25-year-old Kayci Deaundre McCrory as the victim who died in a hit-and-run accident on 10 Freeway on November 6.
 
According to the Texas Safety Department, the collision happened near Dallas Street. Based on a report, McCrory was riding an electric bicycle on the far right lane of the freeway prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a Ford Raptor driven by 42-year-old Hector Octavio Saenz struck him. Subsequently, Saenz fled the scene and a second vehicle struck McCrory again while he was down in the roadway.
 
As a result, McCrory died at the scene.
 
The driver of the second vehicle called police and stayed at the scene. Later on, police arrested and booked Saenz into the El Paso County Jail.
 
As of now, the crash remains under investigation.
